Beat Battles

The Met's musical instruments collection has 5,000 real, playable pieces — some over 3,000 years old, including a 1721 Stradivarius. Producers in Seoul, Lagos, and Mexico City sample the ACTUAL sound of these instruments into fresh, original beats, then battle to see whose track makes the oldest instrument sound the most modern.
