The solar system served as scoops of ice cream: every planet is a flavor, and the flavor teaches its science. The rule of this project is that the ice cream is never decoration — the texture, color, temperature and ingredients of each scoop are how you remember what that world is actually like. Mercury as a grey burnt-rock sorbet, scorched on one side and frozen solid on the other, because it has no atmosphere to spread the heat around. Venus as a sulfur-caramel scoop that boils in the cone, from a runaway greenhouse effect. Earth as the only double-texture scoop, ocean and land, with a whipped cloud on top. Mars as an iron-oxide sorbet, dusty and bone dry. Jupiter as a swirl that never fully blends, with a strawberry spot that has been spinning for centuries. Saturn served with a cookie ring made of ground ice and rock. Uranus and Neptune as methane scoops, blue-green, served at an absurd temperature. And Pluto, the tiny scoop we still argue about whether it counts as dessert. Include why the order of the flavors matters, what would happen if you ate the solar system in the wrong order, what a comet would taste like, and the big finish: what flavor the Sun would be and why nobody can order it
