007skaty Noise disputes surrounding a massive computing facility in Vineland, New Jersey.
007skaty In 2026, cooling infrastructure at a 300-megawatt Vineland, New Jersey computing facility caused neighbor nausea and sleep disruption.
007skaty Build low-frequency hums to learn how AI architects shape invisible soundscapes.
Ghostly rumbles: Infrasound at 18.9 hertz from old pipes can trigger unexplained dread and watery vision, mimicking a haunted house.
Sound waves with a frequency below the lower limit of human audibility. Architect Marc Sherratt used these low frequency vibrations to design safe migratory pathways for South African elephants.
Which physical symptoms are most commonly associated with exposure to high levels of infrasound?
In which U.S. state did residents report physical symptoms from a 300-megawatt AI data center in 2026?
Why do traditional noise regulations often fail to detect infrasound from AI data centers?
Which scale is specifically designed to give more weight to low-frequency sounds than standard dBA?
Why are AI data centers running their cooling systems and generators 24 hours a day?
